Experience

Caleb is a former Marine Corps officer and an aggressive, fair-minded former “Big Law” attorney. He has plaintiff and defense experience in the trial courts of Texas, the United States, and the United Kingdom; the appellate courts of Texas; and the United States Supreme Court. He has represented clients, including Fortune100 and Fortune500 companies in antitrust, corporate governance, energy, securities, mass tort, financial, civil forfeiture, historical tax credit, regulatory, and other complex disputes. His previous clients include pharmaceutical companies, chemical manufacturers, energy companies, real estate companies, financial institutions, healthcare companies, banks, pension funds, shareholders, and private investors.

Caleb believes in aggressive litigation strategies, simply stated. “Communicate in plain English. Let your facts breathe. Don’t smother them in hyperbole or antiquated legal speak.” His approach is critical to his practice because he is often asked to litigate tough, technical, or complicated issues.

Caleb graduated from Fordham University School of Law with honors. He won his first major case, a securities fraud and energy matter, as lead plaintiff counsel just three years later. While at Fordham, he interned for the famed Justice Denny Chin at the Federal Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York. He also earned honors for pro bono work. He formed a city-wide veterans’ organization mobilizing law students from eight New York City area law schools to aid the City’s 250,000 veterans in federal, state, and city administrative hearings.

Prior to law school, Caleb was a decorated officer and captain in the United States Marine Corps. He flew the T-6A, TH-57, and CH-53E. He earned accommodation for planning and conducting counterinsurgency and information operations at NATO Command Southwest Afghanistan. Last, he was his squadron’s legal officer and adjutant, represented his Commanding Officer in administrative hearings, and conducted Judge Advocate General Investigations for the commanding general.

In addition to a Juris Doctorate, Caleb possesses a Masters of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin. While in undergraduate studies, he played collegiate soccer at Northern Illinois University earning All-American and All-Conference academic accolades and semi-professional soccer in the Chicago Area. In his spare time, Caleb runs marathons in the United States and Europe. He is also an entrepreneur and local business owner.
