Sbaiti & Company Welcomes George Padis as Newest Partner

DALLAS, TX – Sbaiti & Company is pleased to announce that George Padis has joined the firm as a Partner. George brings more than a decade of litigation experience, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities across a wide range of complex civil matters.

George joins Sbaiti & Company from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, where he served as an assistant U.S. attorney and as a Deputy Civil Chief for over five years. In that role, he oversaw civil litigation involving claims filed against the federal government and federal officials. During his tenure, George tried numerous cases to verdict and argued several appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Prior to his work at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, George was a senior associate at Vinson & Elkins, where his practice focused on business disputes at the trial and appellate level in state and federal court, often on behalf of companies and their directors and officers in connection with public offerings and strategic transactions.

George has experience in a wide array of complex civil matters, including Federal Tort Claims Act litigation, commercial disputes, healthcare fraud, anti-kickback statute claims, as well as breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate governance, and securities issues.
