Sadia Malik is an associate in the firm’s mass tort practice. She represents plaintiffs in product liability and pharmaceutical litigation, primarily in multi-district and consolidated proceedings.
Experience
Before joining Sbaiti & Company, Sadia spent nearly a decade working as a paralegal, with the majority of her career concentrated in mass tort litigation. During that time, she worked on high-volume dockets involving transvaginal mesh, hernia mesh, proton pump inhibitors (PPI), Invokana, Zantac, Benicar, Tylenol, Roundup, Mirena IUD, 3M Combat Arms earplugs, DePuy Pinnacle hip replacement, and Camp Lejeune toxic water. She developed a strong foundation in case development, litigation strategy, and settlement processes. This background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of complex cases, which she now applies to her work as an attorney.
During law school, Sadia served as a Senior Associate Editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, the country’s first legal periodical dedicated to the field of women’s rights and gender law. Her work on the journal deepened her interest in equity and advocacy, particularly on behalf of individuals whose voices are often marginalized in the legal system.
